7-11 Years

Summer Holidays – Cookery Week at Boxgrove Primary School

– Open for anyone aged between 7 & 11 Years

30th July – 3rd August

If your children are aged between 7 and 11 years, Cooking Adventures has a lot to offer.

Cooking is a key life skill which can bring people together. Food should be fun and exciting for all ages. Delicious food does not have to be difficult or time consuming. At Cooking Adventures’ workshops you, or your children, will learn the basic techniques you need to be able to create your own exciting recipes.

The first day will include sessions on those all-important basic kitchen and food hygiene skills which will be developed throughout the week, culminating in a sumptuous Friday showstopper challenge.

Everyday the children will learn some key skills and then apply them.
The children can choose whether to eat what they make for their lunch and tea or, if they would prefer to take their creations home to share, then they will need a packed lunch.

Tips will be shared, fun will be had and we hope you will leave with an everlasting love of food and cooking!

Please note: You do not need to be a member of Boxgrove Primary School to participate. Anyone aged between 7 and 11 may join.

We are also now offering cooking birthday parties for up to 12 children.

We will tailor the party to your child/children’s needs, the time you have available and any dietary requirements of those involved. Parties can be themed around your child’s interests, from pirates to fairies all the way to travelling around the world! We will provide all equipment and ingredients, along with a goody bag to give out at the end. If you need a venue we can help you find it. Please contact us for more information and prices.

During school term time, keep an eye out for workshops or clubs being hosted by us at your school.

Check here regularly to see if we are hosting a weekend or holiday workshop near you.

After school clubs are now starting at Boxgrove Primary School in Guildford. (Please note this is only open to Pupils at Boxgrove School.)
