Description
Information for FEBRUARY 2020 COMING SOON!
Usually:
The workshop will start promptly at 9am and finish at 4pm
Children will need to be dropped off and registered in front of the school office, just inside Boxgrove school gates. Any updated information regarding medical or dietary requirements must be shared at this point. I will also record who will be collecting each child at the end of the day, along with a contact number in case of emergency.
Please provide your child with:
- a water bottle – there will be water available from a drinking fountain to top up their bottles
- sun-cream and sun hat (or rain coat, as appropriate) for their break/playtime and lunch
- a packed lunch if you wish them to bring home what they have made during the day – otherwise they will be eating their produce for lunch and afternoon tea!
Containers will be provided to the children for any remaining food to be taken home.
When they aren’t cooking or eating, the children will be playing games which will help them improve their knowledge and understanding of cooking, kitchen utensils and food health & safety.
Workshops finish at 4pm and you will collect your child from outside the school office, where you dropped off.
We are also now offering cooking birthday parties for up to 12 children.
We will tailor the party to your child/children’s needs, the time you have available and any dietary requirements of those involved. Parties can be themed around your child’s interests, from pirates to fairies all the way to travelling around the world! We will provide all equipment and ingredients, along with a goody bag to give out at the end. If you need a venue we can help you find it. Please contact us for more information and prices.
